These are the Minions.

They are the bright yellow, dungareed and be-goggled assistants of the super villain, Gru.

Are they the result of scientific experiments? A previously unheard of pygmy tribe? The result of an unholy alliance between an engineer and a marshmallow peep? We just don't know (although the latter seems most likely). One thing is for certain: they are legion.

There are countless hundreds of Minions working in for Gru in the basement laboratory of his home. They are tasked with the menial, more practical tasks involved in the day to business of being evil and occasionally they are also used as test subjects.

They have names and individual personalities, are functionally indestructible, and - despite a certain reputation - they're not so much evil as pathologically naughty. They like being helpful, but their idea of helpful does not necessarily mesh exactly with that of their master, Gru. They're also incredibly distractible, and can best be described as small sugar-high children.

They are obsessed with fruit, farts and singing. They make pretty good French housemaids and babysitters. They are also Masters of Disguise.

They are Gru’s friends and his loyal companions. They are not the sharpest crayons in the box, but they love easily and fight even more so. Especially over fruit.

They are - sort of - distinguishable, but in the way individual members of a swarm are distinguishable. And when they *do* swarm, your best bet is to get the hell out of their way. (Or just throw an apple in the opposite direction.)

I plan for the Minions to be a lighthearted crack addition to the bar, for instance having them roll through an existing thread between other characters chasing a stray apple, getting the evil karaoke machine going with a nice rendition of a classic cheesy pop song, running the occasional chaotic happy hour, and just bringing some general lighthearted chaos to the bar.
